Steam Updates Configuration
Keep your game servers up to date automatically with our Steam Updates system. Configure update preferences and notification settings to ensure smooth server maintenance.
Enabling Steam Updates

Access Server Settings
Navigate to your server's dashboard and click on "Server Settings" → "Steam Updates"

Configure Update Preferences
- Enable "Auto Steam Updates" to check for updates automatically
- Optional: Enable "Auto Apply Updates" to install updates automatically when detected
- Set an Update Delay (in minutes) to give players advance notice
Update Process
How Updates Work
- System checks for updates every minute
- When updates are detected:
- With Auto Apply: Updates install automatically after the configured delay
- Without Auto Apply: An "Update Server Files" button appears on the server card
- Players receive notifications during the delay period
- Enabling Auto Apply while updates are pending will trigger the update on the next check cycle
Manual Updates
If Auto Apply Updates is disabled, you can still update your server when needed:
- Look for the "Update Available" indicator on your server card
- Click the "Update Server Files" button to start the update process
